Hi all - my wife and I are looking into a trip to Turks and Caicos. We are not naturists, but we do enjoy a private nude sunbathing periodically, BUT we understand there are not any specifically designated clothing optional beaches. I have come across some websites that state there are some very private options that seem to welcome nude sunbathing though. Does anyone have a recommendation of a resort that is near a clothing optional beach? Perhaps short walk or drive?

I've seen topless at Villa Renaissance. Complete nudity? That I have not seen. Yes, that I have seen numerous times. At Beaches as well as Coral Gardens. And no one was gawking or annoying the women at all. And for that matter WHY should topless bathing by females be prohibited?

The islands of Turks and Caicos are framed with beautiful white sand beaches. Visitors can find world famous beaches like Grace Bay Beach or other less trafficked beaches as well. A constant trade wind keeps the climate comfortable all year round. The average annual rainfall ranges from 21 inches in the east of the Turks and Caicos Islands to 40 inches in the west.
I know this question has been asked from time to time in the past -- is there any clothing optional beach in Turks and Caicos? But I just got back from a week on Taylor Bay with my family, staying in a house by the beach, and it was definitely not my experience this time. I'm wondering if my experience this week is the new normal? We arrived late Saturday, and when I walked out to the beach on Sunday morning, I saw a man in board shorts shooting photos of a woman in a bikini bottom and no top. This seemed to be a professional Playboy-style shoot serious professional camera, makeup artist doing touchups between photos , and it went on for an hour or two, even after the beach started filling up.
